FRESH VOICES 2024

Our new Fresh Voices project breaks down barriers to provide access to free Write On workshops and publication support to diverse young people in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

We are delighted to share these fresh voices with you. You will find an eclectic mix of writing selected by the rangatahi and tamariki who took part in this project. More writing from their portfolios can be found in Write On Magazine Issues 62 and 63.

We thank Plains FM, and especially Pia Titus, for their incredible mahi in recording and broadcasting these fresh voices. Our young writers have been empowered by your kindness and expertise.

Thank you to Rātā Foundation and Creative Communities Christchurch for their funding support of this project.

A huge thank you to the schools who participated in this project and the champion teachers who supported their young writers. through the process.
