Castle Hill

My whole family looked up and we saw the tall grassy hill. There were a few stairs at the beginning which we climbed first. I began by jogging up the hill and then I ran.

I slipped on a tuft of grass. My heart skipped a beat as I fell. I hurt my ankle. I decided the next time I went hiking I wouldn’t wear these kinds of boots, but hiking boots.

We all reached a rusty gate. I opened it and my sister ran through it like the wind.

“Race you,” she called.

I stormed up the hill angrily. I didn’t want to run. I didn't want to slip again.

When we finally reached the top I huffed and puffed and I screamed in triumph, happy. Then I took off and raced my sister down the hill.
