The Life of a Doughnut
I had the most amazing day of my life!
At 5:15 am the baker cut my doughnut hole.
Then I got fried in boiling hot water.
Weee!
My friends and I had so much fun!
Next, I got cooled down.
They took me to the freezer and gave me an ice-cooled lemonade!
After that I was drizzled in delicious chocolate icing.
I sat on the tray, closed my eyes as The Sprinkle Man shook millions and millions of sprinkles on me.
I was beautiful!
I waited in line and was given my name: Luna.
At six am the baker put the ‘Open’ sign up at the yummiest bakery in town.
One by one people started to come in and point at the doughnut they wanted,
until . . .
a child named Miss Molly finally pointed at me.
The baker dropped me into a paper bag
and Miss Molly put me in the car.
I wished I could be out of the bag
and look out of the window to see all the beautiful sites.
The car finally came to a stop.
Miss Molly carried me inside, put me onto a shiny plate.
Miss Molly picked me up and put me into her mouth.
It was like a slide
all the way down to her stomach.
I landed and jumped around joyfully.
This was the best day of my life.
