Waiting for the bell to ring

I am a fiery lightning strike

waiting to release my feelings.

I wonder when I can go out to play.

Although it's rainy, I can chuck on my coat on and go play football.

My thoughts are slow

thinking what to write

holding my pen

but they get out on my paper—

words, stories, poems

so much dialogue!

“Hi, it's a cloudy day, isn't it?

“Yeah, it is.”

“You done?”

“You're striking too fast!”

“I’m angry”

I create a storm.

I am a lightning strike.
