The Endless Gaps

Soon after the boy left his home and wandered into the woods, he saw a huge rectangle covered in vines. It was like a building that had fallen down long ago. There was a wooden door with a round metal handle. As he went through it he saw giant screw-like chairs. Each chair had enough food and water inside of it to last the boy a week. That was enough for him to live in this place. There were huge gaps between each screw chair. So every week the boy had to jump over these gaps. Each week it got harder and harder to jump. After three months, the boy decided to leave. He felt alone in this place and wanted to go back to his home. But the door he once went through was gone. He had only one choice and that was to jump over the endlessly difficult gaps hoping to find an exit.
