In my school bag

In my school bag

is the memory of when I accidentally called my dad’s brother, dad.

a necklace with a cross on it.

A cute, white duckling.

A bright yellow starfish.

In my school bag

is the moon.

Expired milk.

A shiny white fridge.

A murder of ravens.

In my school bag

Is a half-broken ladder.

An old Cherry Blossom tree.

Some fresh juicy ramen.

A ship’s anchor.

The huge Titanic.

A dozen sea shells the size of the moon.

In my school bag

are five hundred boulders.

A mossy brick.

A couple of rubber duckies

A five-storey house.

And a sushi restaurant.

In my school bag

is an uncomfortable itchy sweater.

A huge donut I stole from my brother.

A large amount of sand.

A lot of water that leaked out of my drink bottle.

Two inflated balloons

and yellow sunflower petals.

That’s why my schoolbag is so heavy!
