The Silence

The lady walked into the house.

Coming after church, she is dressed up in her church clothes,

a long pencil skirt with a blazer and a hat tilted on the side of her head.

She sits on a chair and starts thinking in silence, about how the church affected her in a good way.

She starts to walk towards the basement and finds her childhood

table where she spent most of her time.

She brings a phone and sets it down on the table

and starts adding more items like her family photos,

a memory box full of her treasures she collected from the years of her life.

She goes quiet, and she puts down the sound of Frank Ocean singing Pink Matter.

Next, she mists her favourite scent of light watermelon over the table.

She gets a pen and writes a line of her all-time favourite song.

The line is “I didn't care,” from White Ferrari. Next she gets a broom that’s golden

which holds a lot of memories and pops it down on the table. She puts tickets to Central London on the table.

The last thing she adds is success for her future.

Thank you, amazing table, for holding my most memorable things!
