The past

A long time ago, there was a girl named Isabel whose wish was to go to a Paradise. She met a kind-hearted sailor who trained her how to sail a boat but then he had cancer and died. So she had to go alone.

Isabel set sail toward her paradise. Halfway there, she gazed out the window…

The present

Light beams at the green-scaled skinny monster as it swims in circles around the sailing ship. Isabel sees it because of the light.  She is terrified.

The monster sees the girl is terrified. It rushes in the water even faster.  It is hungry. It did not eat for four days.

Isabel starts to think. She has food in her bag: dried meat,  bread and apples. She throws it into the waves.

When she sees that the monster is happy, she dives into the water and pats its soft scales.

The future

They become friends. They will live happily ever after in Paradise.
