Wanless always sits in the corner by himself. He is an invisible part of the class. Sometimes people mention his name to his classmates, they don’t even know who that is. He lies on his desk. He clicks on his laptop. He does his work. He watches other kids chatting, laughing. Day by day. Years by years.

“Look at that guy over there, no one is even talking with him.”

“Shall we say hi to him at least?”

“No, he looks creepy. I don’t want any trouble.”

“Do you know his name? Wanless. You can tell how hopeless he is by his name.”

For many times, Wanless tried to join people but even himself felt it’s weird to do that. A few years have passed. Wanless is now a Year 11 student. He decides to make some changes. At least say something to a person.

“He..Hello…” said Wanless
